Our Legacy of Service
Building a future on the foundation of charity, unity, and fraternity. Over 140 years of service to families and communities worldwide.
Building on a Vision
Founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus was created to provide financial support to Catholic families, particularly widows and orphans.
What began as a small fraternal organization has grown into a global network of over 2 million members dedicated to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Today, we continue to stand as a pillar of support for our communities and the Church.
Our Founder
Seeing the struggles of Catholic immigrant families in the late 19th century, Fr. McGivney's vision continues to inspire our work today.
Our Mission
We are committed to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Our mission is to strengthen faith, support our communities, and provide aid to those in need through acts of service and generosity.
Our Vision
We envision a world where Catholic men lead their families and communities in faith and service. We strive to be a global force for good, supporting the Church and bringing light to the world.
